Zenshin Asian Restaurant celebrated its grand opening at the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa today and now offers guests an exciting destination for contemporary Asian cuisine from the highly talented Chef Terence Fong.

Fong, who has a dedicated following in Las Vegas for his Island Sushi restaurants, has created an entirely new dining experience in Zenshin through his dynamic interpretations of authentic Asian cuisine. Guests will experience a refreshing menu of signature appetizers, soups, bowls, noodles and entrees. Menu highlights include Miso Marinated Black Codwith baby bok choy and ginger soy vinaigrette; Oxtail Soup with tender braised oxtails, ginger, green onions and shiitake mushrooms; Miso Ramen with pork belly, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, corn, egg, nori and green onions; Fire Grilled 16 oz. Bone-in Rib Eyewith a roasted garlic compound butter and medley of Japanese mushrooms.
Zenshin’s sushi bar features a variety of fresh sashimi, nigiri and sushi rolls. The eclectic menu includes the signature 777, a spicy soft shell crab roll topped with spicy tuna, spicy aioli and eel sauce; Double Down Salmon, a salmon skin cucumber roll topped with salmon, tobiko, avocado and yuzu aioli; Jack Pot, a shrimp tempura cream cheese roll, toppedwith tuna, avocado and garlic ponzu; 8-Second Bull Ride, a snow crab, avocado, tempura asparagus roll topped with seared wagyu, sesame miso and a truffle essence. Zenshin will also offer a tempting selection of desserts infused with Japanese and Asian influences. To complement the entire menu, Zenshin offers guests a variety of specialty drinks, Japanese and domestic beer, wine and sake.
Corporate Chef Brandon Konishi, Executive Chef Yoji Shimonishi and Operations Director and Mixologist Daniel Toves will assist Fong in living up to Zenshin’s meaning of advancement, progression and moving forward.
